The Traverse Trust, was created following the ISA Charity’s 30th anniversary, to deliver its awards focused on travel, education and social enterprise. The Trust’s activities captured the Charity’s founding belief that travel broadens horizons and  transforms an understanding of our place in the world.

The awards and initiatives that the trust delivered, provided a bridge for people to manage key transitions in their lives – be it leaving school, graduating from University or managing a mid-career change. It offered people the chance to embark on an experience that could change their perspective on life.

Its diverse network of awards and initiatives included specialist projects that supported dyslexia provision in schools, a social enterprise scheme for people with lived experience of the criminal justice system and international development programmes.
