The Woven Foundation Curatorial Development Fund is a catalyst for new thinking and practice in the cultural sector,  providing seed funding to recruit curatorial talent in a specially designed role.

Absorbing the work of the Artisa Foundation, the Fund was developed in response to the success of our 10 year pilot programme. With our fellowships, we have so far supported 10 curators to develop their critical practice, acting as a stepping stone towards the next stage of their career. Past awardees include the Foundling Museum, Kettles Yard, the Holburne Museum, the Craft Council, Cockpit Arts and more.

We are currently running our first 2 year funding programme, The Woven Foundation Curatorial Development Fund. For information regarding this live project, download the information pack here.

Applications for this programme are now closed. Announcements will be made through this page and our social media at the end of April.

Please note we will be releasing separate activities for Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland in separate rounds. If you are interested in staying informed regarding our upcoming opportunities, please register here or contact us at:

“There is so much interesting work happening to support curatorial talent and a talent pipeline in the museums and galleries sector. This fund is such an important addition.”
