The Artisa Foundation was an incubator for creative and professional development in the visual arts.

With a background in shoe design and manufacturing, we have always been interested in fostering the professional development of creative minds. In 2014, The ISA Charity celebrated its thirtieth anniversary and decided to establish The Artisa Foundation as its vision and activities widened to engage more with the visual arts.

The foundation supported artists, designers and makers to navigate a new stage in their creative journey: whether graduating from University or seeking a new challenge mid-career. Over  the years, we enjoyed working in partnership with some of the UK’s leading cultural institutions, universities and colleges developing a diverse range of awards, fellowships and residencies.
